Fyra designed the interiors of the Safari House's lobby and restaurant area in the new Jänkä Resort hotel. Roots Living rugs were chosen for the hotel's restaurant and lobby.

  • Cozy and homey lobby

    The lounge area seating is framed by a Pilari wool rug. The rug was custom-ordered to a special size according to the designers' drawings.

  • An atmospheric restaurant

    Ketju rugs were ordered in custom sizes for the Jänkä Resort restaurant. The rugs were ordered in pure wool to make them more suitable for public spaces.

Runo Hotel Porvoo

The interior of Runo Hotel Porvoo is the sure handiwork of the award-winning Joanna Laajisto. The design highlights layers of time from recent history with rustic modern inspiration. The interior thoughtfully combines Finnish and Nordic design with high-quality natural materials and a harmonious colour palette.

Laajisto chose rugs and daybed covers for the hotel from the Roots Living rug collection. The colours of the rugs were determined to suit the hotel's interior, and the sizes according to the purpose of the spaces.

In addition to Roots Living rugs, the hotel features Fishbone Linen half-daybed covers. The meticulously planned and executed renovation and interior design create a truly unique atmosphere in this beautiful Boutique hotel! Read more about Runo Hotel Porvoo here.

  • Loop Wool carpet was chosen for the hotel lobby and Plain Wool carpets for the rooms. Wool is a suitable material for public spaces because it is naturally fire-resistant.

In the beautifully renovated Bo LKV office, a sculptural sofa group rests elegantly on the Pilari rug designed by Ulla Koskinen. Finland's fastest-growing real estate agency, Bo LKV, opened a new office in Kruunuhaka, Helsinki, in a Neo-Renaissance building constructed in the late 1800s. The former restaurant space was transformed into a bright office, with renovations respecting the building's original style and color scheme.

  • A fresh and bright interior welcomes you

    Interior architect Jenni Leikas designed the office's interior. A striking and fresh atmosphere greets visitors immediately upon entering through the front door. The eye wanders from the harmonious herringbone parquet to the sculptural lounge group resting on Roots Living's Pilari rug.

  • Natural materials bring warmth to the meeting room

    The theme of ingeniously painted walls continues from the lounge, through the revolving doors, into the green meeting room, where an oak table set sits beautifully on a Roots Living Wicker hemp rug.

The soft Pilari rug was chosen for the lounge area of Bo LKV's renovated office. Designed by Ulla Koskinen, the rug's pattern beautifully complements the dark furniture and the rough brick wall. The Pilari rug can be ordered in custom sizes and without fringes.

  • The interior design of Bo LKV's Lahti office was carried out by Jenni Leikas. Leikas chose the Pilari rug, designed by Ulla Koskinen, in a dark charcoal grey-brown shade for the office lounge area.
